A person driving a West Palm Beach police car died in a crash early Friday at the intersection of Hypoluxo and Lawrence roads in Boynton Beach . There was no immediate identification of the driver by police in either city. According to Boynton Beach police, the crash occurred at about 2:30 a.m. At the scene, investigators found a marked West Palm Beach Police vehicle with one occupant. The car caught fire after the collision, and the driver died from the injuries sustained in the crash, Boynton Beach police said.
