BOYNTON BEACH — Boynton Beach police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Wednesday afternoon. Investigators responded at about 3 p.m. to the area of Woolbright Road and Southwest 8th Street, closing the roadway from Woolbright to the Interstate 95 overpass, as well as the I-95 southbound on ramp, for part of the afternoon. Police said a death is being investigated as a homicide, but have not released any information regarding the victim or circumstances that led to the shooting. Investigators are asking anyone with information about the shooting to call the department at 561-742-6163.
